World War II Memorial Park:

In addition to a large monument to veterans of World War II, monuments will be designed and created with input from local groups and organizations:

• War in the Pacific with Japan

• War in Europe and Atlantic

• POW/MIA

• Families of veterans waiting at home

• Civilian casualties and refugees

All aspects of the World War II Memorial Park will be specific to Utah, including granite, sandston and red rock landscaping, native vegetation, and symbolic features representing all 29 Utah counties.
